Firstly, Chikatetsu is mine, my character born from my own creativity. This OC is a good eighteen years old, existed before my twitter RP days, and is my baby. Do not steal her or imitate her.All drawn art used to represent her is either by myself or gifts from friends. I own it. You are not permitted to use it anywhere for any reason, nor am I required to credit it as the original artist. References have been used in all pieces.---All RPs are welcome, be it OCs or CCs. I do multiverse and AU storylines too. I also do multiple threads with the same partner.---I have no issues with fighting roleplay, obviously, because of the verse's nature. If you want to punch her then you can go ahead and just do it, or private message me for a plot.---I love detail, as most of you familiar with me know. Though saying that I don’t expect an abundance of it in return from my partners. There is no need, at all, to pop out a tonne just because I do. Really. Dark green———Originally a native to the Land of Birds, Chikatetsu was the daughter of an upper-middle-class family, her father being the advisor for the Feudal Lord. She was not trained a shinobi, acting merely as a huntress and gatherer for the village she lived in, being skilled with a bow and mimicking wildlife with her unique nature release of sound. She met and was subsequently abducted by Orochimaru, almost a year after he’d left Konohagakure, and had set up one of his elusive bases around the land.She was nothing but a guinea pig to the Sannin, used for experimentation of newly created jutsu, testing their effects, perfecting them to use not only on others, but on himself. Her body was put through unimaginable trauma. He fully expected her to die. She impressed Orochimaru simply by surviving where her fellow prisoners had succumbed: fed deadly, unstable concoctions yet she still stood, had her vocal chords shredded to study her nature type yet could still talk, move, possessed all her limbs and grace.Over the course of nine months, she earned his interest, and upon surviving the powerful bite that gave her the Cursed Seal of Heaven, he decided to take the bird beneath his own wing, training her as a ninja, execute her abilities in a new way - as a kunoichi, a trained killer of man, not beasts. It was no easy task, no. Chikatetsu did not have the training that ninja her age would have, where they would have been enrolled and already to scratch with the basics. It was excruciating, extensive but between he and his other toys, she excelled. After a year and two months, a creature loyal, submissive, strong and unique, Chikatetsu was given the job as one of the four pillars that made The Sound Four, long before Kimmimaro's induction.In five years, Chikatetsu had accomplished much as a kunoichi of the newly-founded Otogakure. She had carried out Orochimaru’s orders, his bidding, willingly, being sent on infiltration missions, assassinations and abduction requests all over the continent, as far as the Mist to the high, stormy reaches of Kumo. She had learned to fight to a level wherein no one would have surmised she had never handled a kunai six years ago. She had also birthed him a daughter, Chōi, stockholm syndrome had taken its root, broken by testing and unspeakable abuse. She thought thinking nothing of her actions. She believed herself at peace, had even convinced her mind she was happy.Orochimaru was, to her, a god amongst men.But it was a grandiose opinion that was not to last.A further two years passed until Orochimaru pitched to his Sound Four the plan to destroy the Leaf Village, murder its inhabitants. Realising this meant to slay children, an epithany broke upon her. Motherhood, she supposed, had warmed her, made her deeply protective in a manner she had never previously expected to. The error and the guilt and realisation of everything she’d done to this point swept in. She voiced her disapproval but it fell on deaf ears and confrontation.She joined this plight, or died.
She had never gone beyond the status of a guinea pig, a pet, a wooden soldier in his toybox.If the mother of his child was not off limits, was Chōi?That chilled her blood.Orochimaru had her watched from afar, and placed her from one of his most trusted subordinates shifted to vigilant regard. She knew she could not just run away, no matter the temptation. She had to time her escape. Everything rode on it: her life, and more importantly, her child's. She acted no differently, biding her time, playing her role... just with a newfound disgust and self-hatred.On a stormy night in the lonesome October, she finally took the plunge. Wearing nothing but the clothes on her back and a small pouch packed with enough food to feed Chōi for the next two days, Chikatetsu fled Orochimaru She was chased by the Sound Four, who were set on her like a pack on animals amidst other Otogakure ninja. She was an asset, a walking museum of jutsu and seven years worth of work at his hands. She knew that being captured would be her death. She would be rendered a corpse with scalpels in it, and her daughter... what of Chōi? Orochimaru did not love the child, had never shown he did. Would she suffer the same fate?But she made it, not without bloodshed and injury though.
She escaped, and crossed the border into the Land of Wind. For days she travelled around, aware that Otogakure wouldn’t leave her be, having knowledge of her worth.After much deliberation within herself, Chikatetsu took a risk and decided to approach the very village Orochimaru wanted to destroy. She arrived at the sealed gates at two in the morning, insisting she had valuable information for one of the Leaf's most wanted criminals. She was escorted to the interrogation chamber, where she was met by Ibiki and Hiruzen Sarutobi. But Chikatetsu did not put up resistance, giving up all she knew, trying to recollect as best able, revealing anything asked of her. She slept the night in a cell, her baby with her. In the morning, upon an agreement, after lengthy discussion, she was given permission to stay in the Leaf Village as a refugee, permanent residence available on the condition her information turned up fruit, much to the chagrin of Danzō Shimura.It took little over a week but her information led the ANBU to an abandoned lair off the border of Kumogakure, just as she had said, proving her information just. Good to his word she was accepted into the village as a permanent resident, being polite and sweet in nature, she became a squiet background kunoichi, who is genuinely liked throughout the village.———Notes:Chikatetsu's hobbies are cooking, singing and writing. She likes to sing classical, having a whistle register and wide octave range, and if she had exposure to it, would be a fan of symphonic metal.If her feet were normal, they would be a size six (US), four (UK) or thirty-four (EU).Despite the way she looks, she is deeply chaste, prim, proper and demure in nature. Aside from her shinobi attire - which is loose-fitting and easy to move in - she never shows cleavage or wears anything above knee-length. Her outfits are always consist of wrapped ribbon chokers and turtlenecks due to the faint but noticeable scarring from larynx experiments performed on her.The person she would like to fight the most is Jaraiya.Jiraiya is the godfather of Magenta, her only child with Kakashi (her canon, and where relevant to a storyline in roleplay.)She was a virgin before she met Orochimaru. She lost her virginity at twenty-four, four years after he had abducted her and Chōi was conceived on the fifth succession, born when Chikatetsu was twenty-six.Her second daughter, Magenta, was born a cesarean. The baby had developed hollow bones, having genetically inherited traits from Chikatetsu's Animal Curse Seal, that had changed her DNA. Giving birth naturally would have resulted in her contractions crushing the baby, so Magenta was cut out instead.Her favourite colour is pearly white. Her least favourite colour is black.Her favourite food is mandarin cheesecake. Her least favourite food is anything poultry.Her VA would be Syndi Szabo. In Japanese, it would be Kikuko Inoue.
